On April 1st Legends Of Heroes And Villains and Comic Book Divas debuted their co-published comic book Taffy Love Is Not A Laughing Matter #1 at WonderCon 2011; the comic features the 
art work of Richard and Kristi Zerga with the story by Jeff Hughes of Comic Book Divas.
The comic book debuted not only at WonderCon but also with two variant covers, each edition featuring the actresses portraying the main characters in the comic book series Debbie Rochon who portrays the tough but loving Lucy and Deneen Melody who portrays the geeky and semi-timid Rachel
Bringing the twisted tale to life artists Richard and Kristi Zerga brought comic book to life; using a mixture of bright colors and dark tones that gives the comic a eerie fun house feel to the comic book.
Taffy: Love Is Not A Laughing Matter is the story about two women who were childhood friends Rachel and Lucy; Rachel had always been a bit of an outsider because she was into a group and was whispered about because of her love of horror; Lucy was always there to protect her friend and now they are the closest of friends.
After Rachel is dumped by her boyfriend, Lucy takes Rachel to a Horror Hotaru CoverConvention; while there Rachel meets a dealer selling her favorite horror movie character named TaffyThe Clown; this iconic horror character has always been Rachel’s favorite and she is memorized by everything including the rare and sought after Taffy In The Box
Soon after a series of deranged murders begin; Rachel and Lucy will be entangled in a series of events curtsy of one “Taffy The Clown” all in the name of love.
