Krystle Starr had a very busy weekend to kick off August, she attended not one but two conventions in Dallas., Texas at both QuakeCon and STRIP the Dallas Webcomic convemtion. It looks like
Krystle had a fantastic convention weekend as she got to hangout with some great fans, artists and gamers.
QUAKECON
QuakeCon is a free convention held every year in the Dallas, TX area. Thousands of computer gamers from all over the world make the pilgrimage to play with their friends on a giant gaming network, see the latest cool technology, and compete in world-class tournaments. Though mostly volunteer run, QuakeCon is sponsored by ID Software, makers of the immensely popular Doom, Quake, and Wolfenstein series of games. Official Website
STRIP: THE DALLAS WEBCOMIC CONVENTION
For it’s fourth year, STRIP provided lots to showcase at the Southfork Hotel in Plano. The day was packed with comics, sci-fi, fantasy, movies, books and plenty of artists. There were some great panels, trivia games and even a costume competition. It ended with a Live art show for charity to The Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children.
