OMEGA ONE GOES TO LONG BEACH COMIC CON WITH TWO NEW VARIANTS

The creators of Omega One, Mark Edward Lewis and Alina Andrei continue there convention circuit October 3rd-October 4th; as they make their first appearance at the LBCC they will be bringing with them two new variant covers that will debut at the convention.

The first variant cover is by artist Alfred Trujillo; the cover features Omega One wielding her sword straight through the cover. Alfred Trujillo is one of the most well known artists in Arizona and is one of the rising stars in comics. Alfred is known for his work on his own comic book creation “Project Shadows” and is a fan favorite at comic book conventions.

In addition colorist Jeff Balke will be lending his color skills to the Alfred Trujillo cover during the the LBCC; take the cover over to his table and he will color a portion of the cover (We recommend the sword) for only $10.00; Jeff Balke is well known colorists and has worked with many different publishers and artists and he is a fan favorite at many of the large comic book conventions including SDCC, NYCC.

The second cover is created by Marat Mychaels; the cover features Omega One in front of a burning building wielding her sword as she holds off others with her gun. Marat is an artist at DC Comics who has worked the Hawk And Dove comic book series, and has also worked Rob Liefield on the ” The Grifter”; Marat is also a convention favorite and attends many of the top conventions.

Come by the Omega One table at the Long Beach Comic Book Convention October 3rf-October 4th at booth #1500, then take your Alfred Trujillo variant edition to Jeff Balk’s table for him to add his color magic, and then take the Marat Mychaels variant edition cover to Marat’s table to be signed.

“Omega One” takes place in the future when the lines of electronic communications are compromised by groups of terrorist hackers that have brought done not only large companies but governments from around the world; thus began the “Hacker Wars”.

Out of the hacker wars grew courier services that rely on human curriors that can hold vast amounts of data and information. These couriers have become the futuristic version of the pony express encountering danger at every turn.

Among the many courier services has emerged “Alpha Courier Alliance” one of the elite companies known for their ability to get information through no matter the risk; along with their top agent “Omega One”.

But who is Omega One, that’s a question even she is asking herself, and why are clients and government agencies trying to kill her?

Megan codename “Omega One” is living in a futuristic world where information and the delivery of that information comes at a commodity, where people and organizations will do anything to obtain that information. She a courier but just not any courier; “Omega One” is a living hard drive storing and carrying information that has been encoded into her body; that is the easy part of the job the hard part is staying alive and keeping the data safe from people the people who want what you are carrying.

In between being a courier for Alpha Courier; Alliance she has struggled to remember who she is and where she came from.

After the events of her last mission where she was setup by her client and then ambushed by a group of assassins she thought was after the information she was carrying; Megan discovers information that she may be a clone created by the U.N. and a mysterious organization called “ETHOS”. If that was not enough, while trying to digest this information at a diner “Omega One” is then confronted by Doctor Michael Bertrand the head of “ETHOS” tells her she was raised and trained by “ETHOS” until she disappeared,

Doctor Bertrand asks “Omega One” to return with him to “ETHOS” but she leaves the diner even more confused.

Soon she informs her Alpha Courier;Alliance teammates of her encounter with Bertrand and what he has told her about her past, they are visited by FBI special agent Katherine Cartwight; after promising “Omega One” and her team for more answers about “ETHOS” and Doctor Michael Bertrand the team follows the agent to the headquarters of the special ops unit known as Bravo 7. “Omega One” and the team learn that “ETHOS” and the U.N. had conducted experiments to create a series of female super soldiers called “Alphas”; “Omega One” learns she had trained the “Alphas” and was meant to control them when the time came to lead them.

After agreeing to join forces with Bravo 7 when needed; “Omega One” continues the daily business; until the day “ETHOS” lays a trap for “Omega One” and the rest of the team where they loose one of their own and the mysterious Doctor Marcus will make his appearance known to “Omega One” and “ETHOS” ;

OMEGA ONE MOTION COMICS DEBUTING AT COMIKAZE EXPO 2012

he Omega One Creators Mark Edward Lewis and Alina Andrei have announced that they will be bringing the Omega One Motion Comics on DVD to the Comikaze Expo September 15th-16,;this is the first time that the motion comics episodes will be available on disk, so be sure to get to the Omega One/Comic Book Divas table while they last.

That’s right the Omega One motion comic that fans have downloaded from the Omega One website is now on disk. Watch all the Omega One action come to life in a very unique comic book style as the comic book comes to life panel by panel, with sounds, special effects plus a musical score to go with all the action. In addition the CD will include special features of the App, commentaries from the artists, creators and writer, and special music features.

Alina Andrei the co-creator, co-writer, model and voice of Omega One will be at the table as well as co-creator, co-writer, and composer Mark Edward Lewis will be on hand to sign not only copies of the Omega One Motion Comic DVD’s but also copies of the Omega One comic books and prints.

Actress, Voice Actress Stunt woman, and model and voice for Omega One Alina Andrei; will be a guest at the Comikaze Expo 2012; Alina will be at Comikaze talking about some of the projects she has been involved with such as the Transformers movie, Thor, and also about some of the video game projects she has worked on including the upcoming Amazing Spider-Man video game. Alina will of course be at Comikaze to talking about the Omega One Comic Book and Motion Comic where she is the model and voice of the character.

She will also have Omega One issues for sale and will have a preview of the Omega One Motion Comic to view!

Stan Lee’s Comikaze Expo is the brainchild of siblings Regina, Fabiano, and Mario Carpinelli, who grew up in Southern California. Since childhood, they’ve been immersed in a world of comics, gaming, horror, sci-fi, fantasy and anime. With the help of close friends Klaus Moeller and Shelle Mannion, big comic fans themselves, this collective of family and friends created the event that has always been missing from the city of Los Angeles.

After the success of their inaugural event in 2011, which brought in a whopping 35,000 attendees, Comikaze Expo was approached by living legend Stan Lee and his company Pow! Entertainment. Stan was impressed by the show and offered to purchase a percentage of the company. Thus, turning Comikaze Expo into Stan Lee’s Comikaze. Soon after, Cassandra Peterson, also known as Elvira Mistress of the Dark, followed suit. Now, for the first time in history, a comic book convention is owned by legendary pop-culture icons.

Stan Lee’s Comikaze is unlike any other comic-related event in the United States. Having spent much time researching both local and national conventions in the United States, the Comikaze Team crafted an event that will thrill and excite even the most casual comic fan. Stan Lee’s Comikaze is a multi-tiered extravaganza created by real comic fans with deep ties to the entertainment world.
